Mycond OXA-DK — dehumidifying air conditioning unit

Dehumidification with reheat — dry air without chilling the hall
Air flow rate: 5800 ... 8500 m³/h

Want to buy or have questions?
Mycond OXA-DK — dehumidifying air conditioning unit

Mycond OXA-DK is built for buildings where excess humidity damages the goods, the equipment or the structure. One ceiling unit dehumidifies, cools and heats — up to 8500 m³/h of air at mounting heights up to 21 m.

Mycond OXA-DK dehumidifying unit with cooling and reheat coils

Why it pays off

  • Dehumidification without overcooling the room.
  • Air flow 5800–8500 m³/h.
  • Mounting height up to 21 m, noise below 60 dB.
  • Separate chilled and hot water circuits (DN40/DN50 and DN25/DN32).
  • Droplet eliminator and condensate drain as standard.
  • Wireless hygrostats placed in the storage area.

How the dehumidification works

Room air passes over the cold coil, where moisture condenses and drains away. The cold, dry air is then reheated on the second coil to a comfortable temperature and returned to the working zone. Humidity drops, but nobody stands in a cold draught.

When needed the unit also runs as a plain warm air heater or a chilled water cooler — the controller switches modes by hygrostat and thermostat.

Wireless control

Mycond OXA wireless control system with OXA-V terminal and OXA-T2 sensors

What the controller actually adjusts

  • Mode by hygrostat — dehumidification starts above the setpoint and stops once the target is reached.
  • Guide vane position — the dried air reaches floor level without draughts.
  • Fan speed — frequency control across the whole range.
  • Wireless sensors — humidity and temperature read in the storage area.
  • Supervision — Modbus RTU into the BMS, alarm log, smartphone access.
  • Protection — phase monitoring, over-voltage and over-current cut-out, anti-freeze, soft start.

Where it is used

Mycond OXA unit in a high-bay warehouse, dried air descending between the racks

High-bay warehouse: dried air moves down between the racks and the humidity stays within its limits.

  • pharmaceutical production and medical warehouses;
  • food plants and ripening rooms;
  • paper, electronics and metal product stores;
  • plating shops and other wet processes;
  • buildings with permanent condensation on the structure.

We size and lay out OXA systems for industrial and storage facilities across Europe, including the moisture balance — send the process data and you get a layout with a quotation.

Frequently asked questions about the Mycond OXA-DK

Does it overcool the room?

No. After the moisture is removed the air is reheated, so the working zone keeps a comfortable temperature.

What has to be connected?

Chilled water from a chiller, hot water from the boiler circuit, a condensate drain and a 380 V supply.

Does it work in winter?

Yes — in the cold season it heats and destratifies the air while still holding the humidity setpoint.

How many units are needed?

It follows from the moisture balance: process moisture release, infiltration and the fresh air requirement. The calculation is free of charge.
