Quite often, there is a need to modernize the boiler room and replace a morally and technically outdated gas boiler in existing buildings built in 1990-2010. In such buildings, as a rule, steel or aluminum radiators are installed as heating devices, which are designed for a coolant temperature of +60...+65℃.
Is it possible to use air heat pumps with such a heating system?
Yes, it is. Mycond offers a series of air air source heat pumps BeeEco series of air heat pumps with a maximum supply temperature of +75℃. Such parameters are achieved through the use of environmentally friendly natural refrigerant R290. The model range includes household equipment with a capacity of 6 to 18 kW, as well as a 50 kW heat pump for commercial or industrial facilities. At the same time, heat pumps can be connected in a cascade to obtain more power.
TheMycond BeeEco is a monoblock air heat pump that does not require the installation of freon piping.
Not much free space is required in the boiler room to accommodate additional equipment such as tanks, circulation pumps, etc. The heat pump itself is mounted outside. The existing gas boiler remains as a backup heat source and for operation at low outdoor temperatures, namely at temperatures below the bivalence point.
The figure below shows an example of modeling the operation of a heat pump and a gas boiler. The bivalence temperature for this project is -12℃.
for95% of the heating period , the heat pump provides hot water heating for domestic needs and heating of the house, which significantly reduces the use of natural gas and reduces costs.
Mycond BeeEco heat pumps can be easily integrated into an existing heating system. Installation of such a system takes from 2 days depending on the characteristics of the object.
Mycond specialists will help with the development of a boiler room project with BeeEco heat pumps. The project includes a drawing of the boiler room with the location of the equipment, a material specification and isometric diagrams. Such detailing allows you to get a clear installation scheme, reduces the likelihood of errors during installation work and gives the consumer an understanding of the final result.
The figure below shows an example of a boiler room with a Mycond BeeEco MHCM 18 SU3A heat pump and a mounted condensing gas boiler.
Under standard operating conditions, the heat pump automation automatically switches on the gas boiler as an additional heat source if necessary. The implemented scheme allows the use of heat generators both in series and independently of each other.
The isometric diagram below shows the location of the equipment in the boiler room from different angles.
Mycond BeeEco heat pumps are an environmentally friendly solution for renovation projects.
